Rapid Development
At APEX, we move from engineering design to physical hardware in as little as two months. By keeping design, manufacturing, and assembly closely integrated, we validate manufacturability early, identify potential improvements, and iterate on hardware.
Manufacturing Independence
Our approach relies on conventional, accessible manufacturing processes, including CNC tube bending, orbital TIG welding, and induction brazing used to fabricate intricate structures such as a copper lined combustion chamber. By deliberately avoiding dependence on metal additive manufacturing, we reduce reliance on specialized 3D printers, imported aerospace-grade metal powders, and costly proprietary production infrastructure.
Built for Iteration
The result is a manufacturing led development process built around speed, iteration, and greater control over how our hardware is designed and produced.
